The Northeastern Forest Products Equipment Expositions, otherwise known as the Loggers’ Expos, are the premier forest products industry trade shows in the Northeastern US. The Loggers’ Expo alternates between Bangor, Maine in odd years and Essex Junction, Vermont in even years.
The Loggers’ Expo typically features 200-250 exhibiting companies and attracts a range of 5,000 to 7,000 attendees – comprised mainly of active industry decision-makers. The Loggers’ Expo has become the place where serious business is accomplished between buyers and sellers of forest industry equipment, supplies and services. The Loggers’ Expo features a mix of live demonstrations and static displays – with both inside and outside displays.
NELA is a regional trade group representing more than 2,000 members of the Northeast and Lake States' logging, sawmilling, and forest products community. For over fifty years the association has published a highly respected monthly magazine that focuses exclusively on our region - The Northern Logger and Timber Processor. NELA also produces training programs, pamphlets and books, and an annual exposition of forest products equipment.
